One of our friends came to KL for a weekend getaway. Since we have not met her for so long, we decided to have dinner together before she leaves for Singapore.
Our dinner date was at Amber Chinese Muslim Restaurant located at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Amber sells all sorts of Northern China-style Chinese Muslim dishes, including the ever popular Mi Tarik.
Since K is from Northern China, he was ecstatic to be able to eat food he is familiar with. Our friend and I pretty much left it to him to order our dinner.

He ordered Chinese dumplings, Xi-Hu minced beef soup, fried shredded cabbage, sauteed Chinese cabbage, Chinese herbal tea with goji berries, and eight treasure tea (ba bao cha). We had a duck dish too though I cannot recall whether it was Shanghai marinated duck or some other name.

The food was so good that it took us less than an hour to complete our meal. Plus we loved the ambiance, warm atmosphere and elegant dining area. Food service and price were good too. Definitely a recommended place to go with family and friends.
