[MY] Hong Kong Roast

Hong Kong Roast. We first tried their food at Food Republic in Pavillion KL. Surprisingly enough, the person who recommended it to us is a Singaporean! And she was there on a holiday!

The second time we tried their food was at AEON Wangsa Maju Shopping Centre. It was one of those days where the family decided to takeaway something for dinner and my sister chose Hong Kong Roast.

Now, the third time was at the Food Arcade, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru. We wanted to have an early dinner, but not something that was too heavy.

[MY] Mee Tarik Warisan Asli

I no longer do my best to take decent photos

The first time I ate at Mee Tarik Warisan Asli was more than 5 years ago at their Medan Niaga Tasik Damai, Sungai Besi outlet. The menu was pretty simple then. I used to go there two to three times a week because it was within walking distance from my office, plus the taste of the mee tarik reminded me of my trip to China.

Ever since then, I’ve eaten at several of their other outlets. Needless to say, I’ve also seen the changes in their menu and restaurant concept. Maybe it’s just me, but I prefer their 5 years ago menu at Medan Niaga Tasik Damai, Sungai Besi outlet. And the price too. Continue reading “[MY] Mee Tarik Warisan Asli”

[MY] Swee Siang Cake House

Jiayou Sis Azura!

Memandangkan business Cina Muslim tak banyak, saya hanya kongsikan beberapa kawan yang saya kenal dan sudah stabil.. Salah seorang adalah sis Azura Tan Siow Ling yang mempunyai kedai kek sendiri di Johor.

Nama kedainya Swee Siang Cake House. Selain cake, sis Azura juga jual kuih tradisional cina yang halal, kuih chang, mooncake dan banyak lagi.
