Our side dish for dinner yesterday was 酸辣萝卜 (Sour & Spicy White Carrot) made using our Signature Chilli Oil.
A super simple dish, here’s a quick recipe:
- Slice white carrots thinly. The thickness depends on how crunchy you’d like the white carrots to be.
- Put a spoonful of our chilli oil, or more if you want the dish to be more spicy.
- Add a dash or two of black vinegar, if you prefer the dish to be more sour.
- Mix well and it’s ready to be eaten!
Note: We like to have it cold so we’d pop it in the fridge for a bit before serving.
So how do you eat 酸辣萝卜? Eat it as a side dish with rice, noodles, or bread. Or you can even snack on them.
