Lagi 2 minit je lagi nak buka puasa! Awak semua berbuka ape harini?

Alhamdulillah, harini kami sekeluarga ade youbing (flat breads), sup kambing, sayur campur, bubur kacang hijau dan sedikit kuih-muih. Youbing ni kami makan macam tu je, dengan lauk dan buat cicah bubur. Kira macam pengganti nasi.

Dah cuba belum youbing kami?

Kalau belum dan ade pasang niat nak makan makanan Cina Muslim dari Barat Laut Negara Cina, boleh whassap ke 0122611175 untuk buat pesanan atau maklumat lanjut.

Selamat berbuka puasa!

The Story of Kai Kai

As’salaamualaikum, peace be upon everyone!

So we got people asking whether we are Muslims.

Well, let’s start with Kai Kai.

Kai Kai is born and raised in a traditional Chinese Muslim family in Qinghai Province, China. He has 2 brothers, both married and with their own children.

One day, Kai Kai received a job opportunity to work overseas. He packed his bags, said goodbye to his family and eventually reached our shores. During his employment period, he noticed many people were intrigued with him being a Chinese Muslim because they thought he is a convert. They became all the more intrigued when they found out he is a born Chinese Muslim, with a long history of ancestors being born Muslims.

Kai Kai is now Alhamdulillah married to Hajar (or in this blog we go by the pseudonym “Jia Jia”). He still gets questioned about his religion but he is sort of used to it by now.

The Story of Jiaozi

As’salaamualaikum, peace be upon everyone!

饺子 . Jiaozi . Dumplings

I have always loved eating “Jiaozi“, or dumplings.. Even before I got to know Kai Kai (Alhamdulillah, we are married now), I often find myself ordering a big bowl of it whenever I get the chance to eat at Chinese Muslim restaurants.

However, there had been several occasions whereby I wasn’t able to eat the dumplings simply because the restaurants ran out of it. As a result, I wasn’t able to satisfy my cravings.

I guess it came to the point when I started to Google ways to make my own dumplings. I experimented the different types of filling, learnt how to fold it into various shapes. and tried several cooking methods. From using pre-made dumpling wrappers bought from the supermarket, I eventually graduated to make my own dumpling wrappers.

Fast forward, now that we are in the Chinese Muslim food business, it makes all the more sense to include one of my most favorite food in our menu. Making dumplings take hard work, especially if I make the dumplings shaped like the ones Kai Kai eats at his hometown. So for now, we are only offering the basic shape dumplings – cooked and frozen options. If Allah permits, we can offer other shapes for custom orders.

Have you tried our dumplings yet?
